Co-Founder, General Counsel

Jennifer lives in Austin, TX and is focused on providing corporate and IP services to startups, entrepreneurs and high growth companies.

In 2009 Jennifer was a crucial element in launching Innovelop as a co-founder, and is currently General Counsel.  In addition to defining Innovelop’s organizational structure and serving as a Member of the Management Committee, Jennifer continues to fill a critical role in developing Patent, Trademark and Contract documentation for items in Innovelop’s think tank.

In 2010-2011 Jennifer performed extensive legal due diligence on two of Innovelop’s high-technology startups and also held critical roles related to marketing and fund-raising efforts.  When not working from her favorite coffee shops, Jennifer can be spotted at the wonderful HubAustin co-working space at 4930 S. South Congress Ave.


Jennifer is a licensed attorney with experience in corporate transactional matters, general business advising, litigation, and intellectual property.  Jennifer has advised start-ups to companies with operations of over $50M in revenue on a variety of corporate matters including, but not limited to, acquisitions, divestitures, financing, organizational structure, governance, contractual matters, customer relation matters, real estate, employment law and intellectual property law.

Jennifer is licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Ohio and Northern District of Ohio.  Jennifer is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark office.  Jennifer received her JD from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and has undergraduate background in biology, chemistry, chemical engineering and pharmacy.

Jennifer loves to golf and play ultimate disc, the oboe and with her adorable baby girl.
